Subject: Ban off-topic posts
The point has already been made that if you want to be completely on-topic
you would stifle reasonable technical debate, i.e. You'd have to be focussed
utterly on the BBC micro as it stands.
If you want to be that specific, I'd suggest a Maplin/Radio shack catalogue
for a good read, rather than a forum. Or else use shift/click-delete as I
do, it's hardly difficult for the odd occasion off-topics ramble on.
It should be for the administrator to move excessive off-topic threads to
another area [or stop them]. That way you get a balance of reasoned
discussion and common sense.
