I'm working on a hardware device to read floppy discs and MFM/RLL (and 
maybe ESDI) hard drives -- the DiscFerret:

I was toying with the idea of an IDE-to-SD Card converter for my logic 
analyser (the HDD is on its way out, the BIOS is locked to only accept 
certain HDD geometries, and most standard CF cards no longer support IDE 
mode). This and ST506-to-SD (and maybe SCSI-to-SD) would be an 
interesting complement to the DiscFerret...
