Most PanOS stuff was supplied on DFS floppies and copied/installed onto
an ADFS hard drive or network server. So, I'm making an educated guess
that the disks are DFS format.
A straight zip up of the DFS contents would do. Hmm... none of the BBC
zip utilities can do all DFS directories and two sides in one go... so
a simple disk image is probably best. There are disk imaging tools
available at http://mdfs.net/Apps/DiskTools.
If you're using a BBC/Master then you can use BACKUP
(eg *BACKUP 0 destinationfile 80 2).
If you're using RISC OS you can use DskToImg
(eg *DiskToImg 0 destinationfile -size 400K).
If you're using a PC, you can use OmniFlop
(http://www.shlock.co.uk/Utils/OmniFlop/OmniFlop.htm)
