I wonder if there is any viability why a driver of some sort couldn't be 
created for Win32? After all, if it is possible to get a parallel port 
zip drive running, why not an Ecolink?

What, you mean like "$.txt.mydoc" for the file "mydoc.txt"? Yeah, I can 
imagine scanning all the subdirectories for files could be *painful*.
