I may be wrong, but internally a Beeb floppy drive seems to be identical to
a PC floppy drive. At least I have a SSDD 40 track drive that once was used
with a BBC Micro, and it works OK in a PC except for the fact most BIOS'es
only recognizes double sided 360K drives and upwards. The jumpers may be for
selecting DS0, DS1, disk change etc. Open up the 5.25" enclosure and see
which model the drive mech is. Most of them have their jumper settings
documented somewhere on the Internet.
Of course, the ability to read and write FAT12 floppy disks on a BBC Master
sounds more cool than moving the drive mech to a PC. :)
Best regards
