Not very hard to find a replacement for then, as some companies are
still selling those :)

And there is the rub.
What I am suggesting is having a store of files that can be used by a
PCB fab house to make a replica PCB of any of the old Acorn system
boards so that should somebody want such a thing, they can have it
quickly and easily.
The question of authenticity is therefore only really of interest to
anybody who wants a "made in the 70's/80's" PCB, and as I have said
elsewhere if somebody wanted to make a perfect fake there is nothing I
can do to stop that process. I really do not think they would be
deterred should they have to make up the PCB files!
