Interesting! Is there nothing special about the Master other than it having
the Turbo copro?
For the Acorn AVC setups - and I realise this is probably "something else"
given the use of Sony players - the Master had ROM-based software to assist
in control (although there's mention of floppy-based authoring software
too), and I expect they were fitted with genlocks (the Philips players had
RS232 control 'built in', I think, so it'd seem sensible for Acorn to use
an existing stock player and do the video overlay on the Master side of things)
