Subject: Minitel in France

France is about lose it's highly successful and much loved counterpart to 
our Prestel (d. 1991), Minitel, after 30 years of service.  I cannot make
out why though... if anyone knows an English translation version of this
story, not available on that site :-(, then it'd shed more light on this.
