You're speaking to JGH - who's got the *same* software capable of
running on anything from a Beeb to a Beagle...
While programmers can make mistakes (and <cough> we often do <cough>),
in some cases the "rules" are disregarded in favour of doing it by some
other method. You previously mentioned games, software that is big on
copy protection, fiddling around in the machine, and as a consequence,
is a lot more likely to screw up on OS/hardware differences.
Unlike, say, something such as SparkPlug.
That said, didn't Repton have "issues" between Beeb and Master?
