Maybe the production company was unable to find a real Acorn Atom,
so the machine on the picture s a mock-up that accidentally was
manufactured backwards looking?!

Or maybe they made a few subtle changes on purpose to have a gang
of besserwissers debating on forums and mailing lists about which
possible goofs they did? The Amstrad CPC reference is a bit too
much of a goof though.
