Subject: Beeb and the Museum of Computer History

I was over in San Jose in Feb and took the VTA out to Mountain View to visit
the excellent Museum of Computer History. If you get the chance, it's at
least a solid day's nerding out. I could have gone back again, but for time
restrictions.

Being the USA, the old Beeb didn't get much mention (there was more cover
of Teletext, believe it or not, even a display) but there was a single solitary
example. Also an Ohio Scientific 600 with a keyboard I was convinced (blame
jet-lag) was almost identical to the Beeb's. It's not, but it felt the same.

I keep meaning to put a page up with my more presentable snaps, but a couple
of horrible quality ones here:

They also had a working Difference Engine. Hand-cranked. A joy to behold,
hear, see, smell.
