Ah, now for me there were two things I liked.

1. Bouncy Alex. Mmmmmm!

I'd enjoy it more if they stuck to the sci-fi and blew up stuff more 
often. Torchwood is good for wisecracks, one-liners, and impressively 
unfeasible weapons. Not to mention a cute Asian (now dead, meh...), 
sarky doctor (also dead) and overcaring Welsh bird (whoa, not dead!).

I think, if we're brutally honest, this story could have been told in a 
two-parter.
