I think you need a higher resistance to utilize the built-in impedance in
the TV to create a voltage divider. If I recall correctly, each of the RGB
signals should have at least about 300 ohm resistors in series, the other
signals perhaps can do with a little less. The first cable I built was BBC
to 1084 monitor using recycled 470 ohm resistors. For my second, SCART cable
I think I used 300 ohm.
