Ah, as JGH mentioned disabling the FS code "a bit more", I wondered if 
this was something Acorn bothered to support in the Econet code proper.

Never knew that existed, although I did once (briefly) wonder why the SJ 
tools have a Logon command in addition to *I Am, but I didn't wonder 
enough to RTFM it. ;-)
[shame, or I'd have session-snooped it a couple of times]
