You can plug GoSDC into a ROM socket on a cartridge, which
you plug into a cartridge slot. So it depends on the cartridge.

I did some experiments just before finalising the design,
and it seems to work fine on a Care Electronics 2-ROM
cartridge. But I wouldn't rely on it in terms of data
integrity. For example, I recently had to resolder the
'fingers' on one, or it wouldn't even be reliable with
ordinary ROMs (!). Which goes to show you how tricky
connectors can get when they (have to) go in and out
of sockets on a regular basis.
