Subject: Torch Graduate

Hi all,

Normally I restrict my posts to things like Chuckie Egg, but this time I'd
like an opinion or two about some hardware. Today a friend of of mine
showed me a photo of a small Beeb collection. It had the usual kind of
stuff - Model B, a nice Cumana disk drive and Cub monitor.

But also there was what looked like a Torch graduate - I suspected it was a
second processor and confirmed it using a search engine. The picture was
cropped on that side so I could only see the left side of the device, but it
was the correct shape, size and colours. Google tells me it's an 8088
second processor that runs MS-DOS 2.11, but that's pretty much all I can
find out! Any more information or experiences with this kit would be
interesting.

The reason I was shown the photo (sorry, don't have a copy to post for you)
was because they wanted to know the value (probably eBay value) of the gear.
I have absolutely no idea what the use, collectability or value of a Torch
Graduate is these days - any ideas?

Regards,
JohnA.
