Subject: ANN: Save BBC screen as BitMap file

*BMPSave v1.06 - Save BBC screen as Windows BitMap file
http://mdfs.net/Apps/Graphics/Conversion

I was trying to save some screenshots of various character sets when I
realised I hadn't completed my *BMPSave command to save small screen
modes (MODEs 4 to 6) or zebra stripes in MODE 3. I've spent the weekend
updating *BMPSave so all graphical screen modes can be saved, including
zebra stripes. It involved a lot of squeezing of the code, and I had to
remove the -small option, so all screen modes are saved as 640x512
pixels.

*BMPSave complements the BBCtoBMP and BMPtoBBC conversion programs
which convert between a saved BBC screen file and a Windows BitMap file,
and will run on any BBC BASIC platform, including BBC/Master, RISC OS,
Windows, Brandy, etc.

Some examples of BBC screen files converted to BitMap files are at
http://mdfs.net/Apps/Graphics/Conversion/BMPSamples

You may notice that I couldn't think of a very good sample MODE 6 demo
picture.
