You WHAT?!?!

In early 2011, Hugo Fiennes, CEO and co-founder of Electric Imp, was remodeling
a bathroom in his home and wanted to add a strip of RGB lights under a cabinet
to light the floor. His plan was to connect them to WiFi so they could display
all sorts of ambient information - the hourly weather forecast, daily calendar,
stock prices - all indicated with color changes along the strip that could
be seen at a glance.

Maybe I'm just "old" or something? For me, bath time is sacrosanct. No phones.
No media players. No nothing. Just me and maybe a candle. And some cherry/bamboo
smelly gunk.
I can't think of anything more ghastly than to have your own personal news
ticker thing in the bathroom. Kitchen, maybe. Bathroom, no.
Best wishes,
Rick.

Well, he seems to have been working for Apple as the main man behind the
hardware for the first 4 iphones -

He now seems to be http://electricimp.com/ , how quaint a closed-cloud
based service - I suppose that's what rubs off on you when you work for
Apple ...
altman@... probably still works, else get him via electricimp.
