Subject: Need to replace printer

My 15-year-old HP LaserJet 5 is jamming more and more often, I usually
can't do a multi-page job in one go without pulling paper out, and it
balks at taking more than one sheet at a time through the bypass feeder.
So, it looks like I'm going to have to save up for a new printer. Any
recommendations?

Requirements:
* Must have centronics port as it is used by PC, MDFS, A5000 and Master.
* Able to print on pre-printed paper, as used for mailmerging onto
pre-printed letters.
* Able to print on sticky labels without the labels sticking themselves
to the printer innards.
* Must be able to run continuously, the abovementioned mailmerges often
consist of 8000 sheets at a time.
* Lower running costs are more important that lower capital costs.
* Must be a proper printer, not something that smudges.

While I would love to have an A1 printer so I can print my own maps,
standard A4 is adequate.
