Battery was removed before storage to prevent leakage problems, I've 
tried a R-powerup and a delete-powerup and 0-powerup etc (might be 
mis-remembering them from Archimedes days)

Having the battery missing won't stop it starting up will it ?

The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a 
capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety 
labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?
