Subject: USB to serial adapters and the BBC Micro

Hi

Has anyone used a FTDI USB to RS-232 serial adapter between a pc and a 
Beeb ?

Do they work ? and can you configure them for a slowish baud such as 
2400 or 4800 ? all I can see is 115Kbps.

I want to be able to connect to my server by serial terminal but it has 
no serial ports so I was wondering it these USB to serial adapters work 
with the Beeb.
