Yes, there's a knack to using the U-shaped tool that just about 
everybody I've worked with have failed to learn. It's as though there's 
something about the tool that hard-wires into people's mind "hook on, 
then pull".

It was easier just to get them to use the "right-angled screwdriver" 
method.
