What comes in is a 16MHz pixel stream which cannot correctly
align with any modern standard TV or PC mode because Beeb pixels
are different aspect ratios to either.
The result is that either the pixels have to be resampled and
filtered (giving non-sharp edges, decreasingly so on higher
resolution LCDs) or the overall display has slightly wrong
aspect ratio.
