Out of curiosity, I checked the online archive to see how many posts this 
list has received in the past few months. I counted to 88 posts between 
January 1 and July 17 when our friend had an outburst. That is on average 
0.44 messages per day of which half the flood happened in January followed 
by quite a drought in the spring. Someone who goes insane about receiving 
one email every second or third day, from a list they once somehow signed up 
to be on, probably needs a long, nice vacation from both email lists and 
computer repairs.

But anyway, good luck to Michael with finding those TV programs. Were most 
of the produced by BBC themselves or commissioned from other companies? It 
might affect which sources might have access to the material.
