Hello,
I've noticed that on St*rd*t there has been a number of recent stuff about
Viewdata - explains the number of increased connections to CCl4 itself.
I don't like forums, and attempting to "join" seems to have failed and
even the whole setup they have seems braindead.
But, none-the-less, I feel like going on a scanning and source code spree
from that era.
Attached is the front page for the official CET Telesoftware spec - I
couldn't find it but is this already available ? I can't remember what I
gave Rob a few years ago.
I also have the Prestel IP guide, various Micronet mags and Comms Plus and
some other stuff - so not strictly Viewdata, but "BBS" - which to be
honest was in this country pre-Fidonet days was BBCs (and Electron,
briefly I ran one).
Software wise, I have what I origanlly wrote for the Electron to log in to
Prestel (Communico) and was going to be released by ACP/PRES but didn't
happen - Mode 2 with a half character set.
Plus lots of other stuff.
I will collate, but what is the best place for this to be - my feeling is
viewdata.org.uk, but others may be interested.
Thanks.
