Subject: Re: The New ZCPR - ZCPR3

       Rick,

Hi. So your busy on another ZCPR system. Great! As an extensive
user of the system, I have a few commants to make.

Regarding ZEX: So far I've had no problem with it. Once I started
using it I don't ever want to use SUB2 or anything like that again. I
did run into one problem though. I was using it wiwth Kelly Smith's
ARCHIVE program and I had some problems. I never found out why or really
looked into it. There are probably a few programs that will conflict with
it though therefore the submit utility should be an option. There are a
couple things about ZEX that I would like to see happen, like the ability
to turn on and off user input (^"). It would be handy if it could be made
a toggle.

I guess getting rid of disk based directories would be ok. I
suppose it would save a lot of space.

I don't know of any 'bugs' in the system. All the utilities (like
VFILER, XDIR, etc.) should be made to obey the restriction of not going into
protected user areas. If user area 15 is 'protected' then VFILER and XDIR
should ask for the password before looking at or logging into that direct-
ory. This should maybe be built into the ZCPR itself (typing A15: should
maybe prompt a password).

I can't think of anything else off hand. I'll let you know if I
do think of anything. Take it easy and good luck!

                                       - Isaac.
