Subject: Alternate Rainbow printers

According to the Rainbow manual (or what there is of it), the rainbow's
printer port should respond to either an XON/XOFF protocol, or a DTR ready
signal on pin 6? of the rs232c connector. The rainbow does not seem to
respond in any manner to the DTR signal being pulled HIGH or LOW on pin 6
or on pin 20 (where it should be). The owners manual says on the bottom
of page 40 that "the printers DTR signal (on pin 6) has a higher priority
than XON/XOFF control characters (on pin 3)."

If any one knows the fix to this problem, or can help in any other way to
make the rainbow respond to a DTR signal, it would appreciate it.
