Subject: ADDING A HARD DISK ?

DOES ANYONE OUT THERE HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE ADDING A WINCHESTER INTERFACE
TO A Z80 BASED CP/M 2.2 SYSTEM,WHICH DOSE NOT HAVE THE LOGIC TO TALK
TO A WINCHESTER CONTROLLER. I HAVE HAD SEVERAL PEOPLE TELL ME ABOUT
ADDING THE LOGIC TO A CPU WHICH INVOLVES 'PIGGY-BACKING' A BOARD BETWEEN
THE Z80 CHIP AND IT'S SOCKET. THIS SOUNDS LIKE A NEAT IDEA,BUT IF IT WAS
SO GREAT AN IDEA WHY AREN'T THERE A ZILLION GUY'S OUT THERE SELLING
THIS BETTER MOUSE TRAP???

I WOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM ANYONE WITH EXPERIENCE IN DOING THIS. IS IT COST
EFFECTIVE (AM I GOING TO END UP BUYING ANOTHER COMPUTER ANYHOW),WHO BUILDS/
SELLS THE MODULE IF THERE IS ONE,ANY HORROR STORIES ETC.

AS RECENTLY DISCUSED I WILL POST A SUMMARY IF THERE ARE ANY ANSWERS.
