Subject: Re: Disk cinversion for Apple format

RE: Eric Swanson's assertion that there is an IBM-PC board that will read
Apple disks.

True. I don't remember the name of it, Quadram sticks in mind but that's
probably wrong. But the board isn't a disk adapter, it's an Apple ][
emulator that will allow you to pretend that your PC is an Apple. It doesn't
support format conversion between disk formats - when it's active, your
PC is no longer a PC. The board will do almost but not quite all of the
things an Apple ][ does, but unless there has been an upgrade, it isn't
even close to an Apple //e or //c.
