Why can't you use a modem? If you can, there are programs that operate from the
C-128 mode to download CP/M files. (This is to accomadate the fact that the
first version of the 128's CP/M simply doesn't support a modem!) After you get
the December '85 version of CP/M 3.0, you can use IMP and MEX.

The PD terminal program is called CPMTERM7 and uses a MODEM7 type protocol. It
operates in 128 mode and puts files *in CP/M format* on CP/M disks. There may
be others, but I can't be sure.
