Subject: The Computer Journal

I would like to call to the attention of the CP/M community what may be the
only computer magazine still in existence that has a primary focus on CP/M
computers. It is called The Computer Journal (TCJ). Although not many have
been aware of it before, it seems to have been around for quite a while. It
comes out approximately every two months, and the latest issue is #25. TCJ
has especially strong coverage in the area of ZCPR and Ampro computers. It
will also be adopting the now orphaned Morrow machines. To me it is what
Micro Cornucopia used to be before it virtually abandoned 8-bit systems.

Here are the feature topics in issue #25:

        Repairing and Modifying Printed Circuits

Z-Notes: Z-COM Versus the 'Hacker' Version of Z-System
                (regular column on ZCPR3/Z-System)

        The C Column

Adding a Serial Port to the AMPRO Little Board

The SCSI Interface: Building a SCSI Adapter
(series by Rick Lehrbaum of AMPRO)

        NEW-DOS: Part 4
(TCJ project on designing a command processor)

        AMPRO 186 Column

        ZSIG
(regular column by me on Z-Systems Interest Group)

        The Computer Corner

There are six issues per year. The subscription rate for US delivery is $14
for one year or $24 for two years.  Canada and Mexico are $22 per year;
other foreign (surface mail) is $24. Back issues are also available. Send
a check or money order on US bank and in US funds payable to The Computer
Journal or give your Master-Card/VISA number with expiration date to
