Harvey, 

  I once had a Design One hard disk on my Ozzie that was connected via 
the 488 port.  The outfit was in Silver Spring, Maryland - just north 
of Wsahington, DC.  Three years ago they were still in business supporting 
their old hardware.  If you could find someone with the pinouts and the
boot disk, you should be able to make it.  The HD was a standard full height
st-506 type drive (20 mg.)  Way back when it cost $3500.00.  Those were
the days...
