Subject: Apple II/III CPM communications prog?

I have just acquired an Apple /// and am thinking of using the /// as a
terminal to log on to Unix on the Mac (direct connect). So I need to look
for a terminal
program that emulates the VT100 and supports preferrably Kermit file
transfer.

Now I have spent quite a lot of time working on CP/M on the Apple II and
still have quite a few CP/M disks (but not term programs). I was going
thru the Sun Remarketing catalog which has a SoftCard ///. Since the only
Apple /// program that I know of that supports VT100 emulation is the
Access ///, I'm really thinking of getting CP/M running on the ///.

From what I know, SoftCard /// seems to be the same card as SoftCard for the
II except that the OS is patched to work on the ///. Will I still be able
to run Apple II CP/M programs (I mean use the same disks) on the ///? How
much memory does Apple /// CP/M support since it sure addresses a lot more
than the APple II. I believe I wouldnt be able to boot off an Apple II
CP/M disks but hopefully I can run programs directly.

Next is what comm program should I use? I've seen references to QTerm etc.
And I vaguely remember names like CrossTalk (I wasn't into those things
when I was using CP/M on the II).

Thanx
