Subject: S-100 Memory board Info Needed
I managed to pick up three S100 Memory cards for less than half the RAM
populating them was worth. Unfortunately, I didn't get any documentation so I
don't know what the jumpers are for, or how to configure them. I am hoping
someone can give me a hand with these (like copies of documentation or the like
:-)
The boards are made by Macrotech International Corp. (Copyright on the board is
1983). The board is labled "MAX-HOST Rev 1.1". Over the top of this is a
sticker that says "Z Series". This is right below a fancy socket which holds
two chips in sort of a piggy-back fashion. The boards are populated with 3
rows of 18 4164 dynamic RAM chips (150 nS). Grumble, there are also 7 PAL's on
the board.
One last thing. There is a socket on the lower left of the board for a
74LS612. None of the bards have this chip. Does it need to be installed?
Can anyone help me with these?
