There was a color graphics board for CP/M Kaypros -- I know -- I have
one that I bought from one of the engineers that designed it. It was
made by MicroSphere. It uses the Texas Instruments TI-9918A chip,
which gives 256x192 resolution, 16 colors and 32 sprites. This is the
same chip that a lot of game machines and early micro computers used,
like the Texas Instruments TI99.

I had started writing a set of procedures for it with Turbo Modula 2,
but I have not found the time to finish it.

I also remember reading about a color graphics board that plugged into
a standard Centronics parallel port, so you drive it from virtually any
computer. I think I saw this back in '86 or '87. I don't remember
what company made it.
