and... do you mean that the mitsubishi drives enable and disable they're
termination with a jumper.
That means you just need to get things in the correct order ie.


BBC ---cable------ TEC --cable---- MITSUBISHI with Terminator jumper
set ---- END OF CABLE.

You could also make doubly sure by setting the TEC to DS0, and the MITS. to
DS1 with the above config.

If this doesn't work, you've probably got something incorrectly jumpered,
the cable connector is faulty, or the drive is knackered.
