Subject: Teletext adaptors

I've just got hold of an old Morley Teletext adaptor and I'm wondering how
to use it.

When I received it the main board was rattling around inside the casing so I
took it out. There were also a large number of ribbon cables attached which
branched out into a parallel port plug, a user port plug and an aerial plug.
I have removed these for the time being and am now left with a
serviceable-looking board, what looks like a power supply plug and a user
port plug.

Its obvious where the user port plug goes and I presume that I need an
aerial lead to go into the tuner on the board. I also know that I need a
support ROM (I can load this into sideways RAM as I have a disc image of
it). But where does the power supply plug go? It looks a different shape to
the one underneath the BBC - and anyway my disc drive is connected to that.

I can print off the PDF for the ROM user guide but I note that the main user
guide for the teletext adapter is not scanned yet.

Can anyone offer some general advice?

john
