I quite regularly see email delivery problems to one ISP or another that
might account for out-of-order, delayed or lost messages, so I'm not
that surprised by this.

If you do receive a delayed posting, it's nigh on impossible to
determine the actual cause without being able to see the full headers
for the message so I can cross-reference it with my own logs.
