Interesting.  It's a long time since I used SuperForm, but perhaps it
could be modified (for those that don't know, it's written in BASIC) to
tell an attached drive to format itself with 256 byte sectors, thus
avoiding the need to use a PeeCee.

Another poster to this thread, Ken Lowe, has said he had success with
this method on a Fujitsu drive.

I remember modifying SuperForm to carry out a verify only to check a
drive for bad sectors.
