The program I posted a couple of days ago started off life by going step by
step through Superform. I got annoyed at it not interrogating the drive and
so I wrote something new. I have happily used it to format drives etc. both
low level creating the 256 byte sectors and the high level format - creating
the fs map etc.

The problem was that I could never get a SCSI drive to work correctly
directly on the SASI host adapter. An ST506 drive worked fine via the
Adaptec interface.
