You're probably right.....
I haven't mounted my GoMMC yet though. That explains why I haven't tried
this ;-)
I was under the impression, that I had to transfer the GoMMC software from
the PC to the beeb in order to initialize the GoMMC? - or is the firmware
already present in the GoMMC?

I apolotise for my ignorance.
