You can already telnet /from/ a beeb to a telnet client that
accepts telnet packets over Econet. See
http://mdfs.net/Apps/Networking/EcoTCP

Dominic Beesley is developing the BBC target for cc65, a 'C'
cross-compiler that targets the 6502. He's already managed to get
a telnet client running on a BBC Master and managed to log into it
from the pub. Search comp.sys.acorn.programmer.

It feels so wierd issuing commands from a '$' prompt on my Beeb...
Unix Z80 Implementation already exists, I've already got a 'ls'
command, I'm so tempted to put together a BBC 6502 Unix system...
BeebNix? BeeNix? Bunix?

Wow! Holy seredipetous tagline, Batman!

Our chief weapons are 'who', 'ps -aux', 'kill -9', and a fanatical devotion
to 'reboot -q'.
