A few weeks ago I finally got around to building an ESR meter for detecting 
dodgy capacitors - it's been extremely useful so far with several ailing 
systems brought back to life.

My iss. 4 machine was still working last time I tried it. I've got a couple of 
issue 3's though, both with monster heatsinks on the video ULAs; one of those 
just gives a flashing cursor at startup which is probably either caps or duff 
ULA...
