Lucky. When my MDFS's PSU blew, it took the MDFS and most of the line
drivers in connected Econet equipment WITH it (inc. across the bridge).
Plus the fuse in the multiway. And the other. And the fuses in both
plugs. And the upstairs ring main fuse. And it managed to pop the main
supply fuse (60A? WTF?) needing a call to Scottish Water or Kentucky
Fried or whoever the hell our supplier was that week.

I was impressed at the epicness of it. [*]
Mom, however, had a LOT to say, none of it kind.

The MDFS? Scrapped. Only able to rescue the harddisc (which I *think*
works?) and the floppy drives (now on my Beeb).

Such a shame.

Best wishes,

Rick.

     a live=earth=ohcrap situation.
