Subject: Glorious DVI take 2

Allright. Another major hurdle taken : the compatibility (or
general lack thereof) with various monitors, solved. Due to a
totally new synchronisation strategy.

The contraption (a Terasic Cyclone V GX Starter Kit development
board with various homebrew bits stuck onto it) now outputs 1:1
pixel, line doubled video over DVI. Perfectly source synchronous.
Drift compensated. Since, in modes 0 through 6, odd and even frames
come from the same source, even interlaced output is improved (as
it's essentially displayed non-interlaced at double the refresh
rate). Only one line output delay. Gorgeous.

Strictly 50 Hz frame rate though. And no mode 7 as yet (this has
its odd pixel rate and interlacing to be solved). Already good
enough for Electron though ;-)

Watching the running demo screen of Frak, via HDMI, on a 55" 4K
TV, was never this exciting. In a nerdy way.

More later. Hopefully.
