If people really want to be helpful about this, ask me first if it's OK
for you to "take responsibility" of converting a group of disks.
There's no use in everybody sending me the same stuff from the first 10
disk images over and over again.
Or, you can just play around with the images yourself, locally, and
leave it to me to do the conversion to standard format for the
archive... it'll take time, but I'm probably going to go through each
image anyway.
I've already encountered a couple of problems with files which I don't
know where belong. They are probably either data files, loadable by the
user, or just stray files which the "owner" of the disk images forgot to
delete. I guess I can put information about this on my pages, if anyone
wants to help out.
Wouter Scholten's bbcim 0.92 is now available, and includes a utility
for preprocessing Watford DFS images so that bbcim can extract all 62
files.
