Hi
You probably know I have a website (The BBC Games Archive), and I have been
playing all the games from the archive for the last 3 weeks, and now I have
almost finished the main section, and just need to look at all the games in
the Various directory of the archive.
Anyway, I have compiled a list of all the games from the archive which
don't work on my BBC Micro which has DFS 1.2 and 16k SWR. Most of these
don't work because they use *MRUN or *MLOAD or *DOWNLOAD commands of ROMS
which are not all that common for real BBC's to have in them. Anyway, I
would like to update as many of these as possible, so that people wanting
to copy archive games to their BBC's can still play all of them.
If you have *ANY* of these games on your BBC, on a disk, and you use an
Acorn DFS (or at least have not modified the game using *MRUN or *MLOAD)
then please please mail them to me, so I can review the game for my
website, and pass on the file to Rob Schimdt for the file archive.
