Because it the disk pack that came with the Torch Z80 second processor
system. It was a Z80 card that plugged into the Tube connector and sat
inside the Beeb. I've been working on writing new host code for it so
that it performs as a proper Z80 copro, giving full I/O facilities. The
Torch host interface was comprehensively broken - the only host I/O calls
you could do were WRCH, RDCH and a handful of BYTEs and WORDs.
