Subject: Broken 5 1/4 inch disk drive for BBC-B

Dear all, 
I have a faulty 5 1/4 inch disk drive unit for my BBC micro (either that or
the Watford DFS interface is faulty). Can anyone offer any help to trying to
find the problem or is this a lost cause (a great pity).
