Subject: Broken Master PSU

I've recently been asked to fix a broken Master. I think I know what's wrong
with it but I'm not absolutely certain and would value any helpful advice.

The machine, when switched on, initially does nothing. Wiggling the power
cable as it goes into the back of the machine makes the keyboard LEDs
flicker on and off rapidly as if the power is only getting through
intermittently. The machine makes a sort of strangled start-up beep and
there are also buzzes from the PSU area.

I think that there is a dodgy connection in the power lead itself and have
taken it apart. At present I am about to buy some new spade connectors to go
onto the power switch. However, I've not *positively* identified the fault.
Could it be anything else?
